In January, two poems from my in-submission manuscript titled Dummy Prayer, were published in The Adroit Journal. This is a dream come true — I’ve been a fan of Adroit for years, and can’t believe these poems are a part of it! I am also doubly grateful because these two poems are perhaps some of the most difficult I’ve ever written. I’ve been thinking a lot about guilt, my own and others, and have had some horrible realizations over the last few years. I am grateful these poems have come from them.
